Recovery Coaching includes the Ayurveda Wellness Coaching as one. We take a holistic approach and bring our attention to your whole being and how addiction has affected you and your family/friends/work. We will take time to listen, talk and provide a supportive plan and goals for your wellness. We go beyond what we can see for support and references, we look at your connection to who you are with daily practices and a wellness program that fits you.
The first session will be about 120 minutes : giving us ample time to talk, listen and devise your wellness goals and a plan to achieve them. During this time we will go over your intake form, assess your constitution and current situations, discuss your wellness goals and create a plan based on your needs at this time.
Individual consultation sessions are focused on your recovery progress and recommendation regarding lifestyle, diet, herbs and therapies that can guide you back into balance or provide support to current conditions. This session is recommended for individuals who are curious about Recovery Coaching or are already implementing an recovery lifestyle.
Additional time: 15 minutes - $20.00
We suggest that you commit to a 12 month review of your wellness, excrise and diet. We will have one face to face 30 minutes meeting monthly via in person, phone or face-time/video viewing. Each month will focus on your progress and you will receive a email of monthly routines, meditation, and food that will be created just for you. Coaching will help you achieve your highest potential. Our Wellness Coaching is a combination of ancient knowledge and we have evolved the process to fit our time lines of healing . We look for the root cause of your "dis-ease". It is about guiding the client to finding their connection of self in order to find the keys to their own healing process. Here at Root River Recovery, we focus on the whole-wellbeing of the client Mind-Body-Spirit.
Your first coaching session will give us time to talk, listen and prepare a wellness goals and a plan to achieve your understanding of you. During this 90 minutes, we will go over your intake form, assess your constitution and current balance, discuss your wellness goals and create a wellness plan based on nutrition, lifestyle and routines.
Individual 60 minutes sessions are focused to provide a recommendation regarding diet, lifestyle, herbs and therapies that can guide you back into balance or provide support to current conditions. This session is recommended for individuals who are curious about Ayurveda and other Healing Modalities or already implementing an ayurvedic lifestyle.

Ayurveda is called “The Science of Life” This one day introductory class will teach you the concept of the Doshas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha – and the qualities they represent as well as the logic behind the Elemental Philosophy: Ether, Air, fire, water and Earth. You will identify your unique Ayurvedic constitution and how to balance your body through daily self-care techniques, diet, lifestyle, simple yoga and meditation. Ayurveda enables one to understand how to create this balance of body, mind and consciousness as one.
Ayurveda places great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through close attention to balance in one’s life, right thinking, diet, lifestyle and the use of herbs. Knowledge of Ayurveda enables one to understand how to create this balance of body, mind and consciousness .
In this workshop we will expand and learn the importance of self-care routines for your doshas. Dinacharga is the word we use in Ayurveda for a collection of self-care routines one practices daily/weekly to return to and maintain proper balance in the mind and body. We will create a routine for your balance that may include: tongue scraping, abhyanga self-massage with herbal oils, nasya, oil pulling, aromatherapy, and creating herbal teas with appropriate spices, rituals, meditation and exercise for your dosha.
WEAR: We will practice a mini oil massage for the arms/legs/feet, so bring: an old towel, old sweats or yoga pants and short sleeve as well as long-sleeve top, and socks you don’t mind getting oily. Comfy clothes for sitting and moving in.
This one day workshop will explore the energetic field that encases your body. This energy, called bio-energy or chi, is responsible for life as it fulfills your need for subtle energy. The vortexes existing in this energetic field are called chakras. The chakras act as points of connection between your physical and non-physical bodies, enabling energies to flow from one of these vehicles of manifestation to the other. They are the means by which we absorb energy from and give energy to the environment, and exchange energy with others; therefore, they form the core system through which we sustain our energy levels, vitality and health. Considering that our chakras are the energetic ‘devices’ through which we exchange and maintain our bioenergetic level and that the energies of our chakras can vary in quality, to have awareness of what is going on in your chakras is vital to your wellbeing. The last part of the class will focus on aligning your energies with positive intentions during an ancient ceremony known as “Despacho”.
